Combines 20+ years experience in Event engineering and Commercial Photography.
In 2019 the founder of Local99 started up a project for Introducing indoor FPV flying to the public. All the equipment was purchased and the promotional campaign ready for publication, the project Was halted by the Covid pandemic. 2021 finally it was possible to get the needed UAV Pilot Licenses at the BCN Drone Center.
The FPV equipment was used for selecting and training 2 more pilots. As the FPV Introduction Project was moved to the side by ongoing Covid restrictions, advancement was slow. Nevertheless we kept on flying and growing our UAS knowledge.
Springtime 2025 one of our Pilots felt it was time to dedicate more time to drones again. Leading to the start of Local99 in October of 2025.
Lead projects at the moment are implementing state of the art portable Ultrasound equipment on a professional X8 FPV CineLifter Drone and preparing an FPV Pilot Training Course together with BCN Drone Center
