Industrial inspection

For visual inspection we use small professional FPV drones for hard too reach or indoor places and a regular DJI drone for general visual inspection.

We will offer soon functional Ultrasound inspection by drone. The professional X8 FPV Cinelifter Drone is ready for testing. Test flights will be done with real size Ultrasound equipment mockups.

Aerial Foto’s / Video’s / Mapping

All our UAS platforms are available for creating Aerial photos and video. The Majority of our fleet is FPV oriented. For mapping we use a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone

FPV Demo

Exhibition of various FPV Drones, Wings, Rovers. Different models of FPV goggles and controllers. Demo video’s building a drone, battery safety, etc. Demo flights, the public can choose to follow the flights with FPV goggles on various video screens and looking over the shoulders of the pilot. Optionally is the possibility to let the public test-drive some slower FPV Rovers.

FPV Pilots training

AESA drone pilot license holder’s only! ( A1,A3 A2+STS )

If you suffer from extreme nausea’s while using VR goggles or seasickness below decks, this course is not for you !

Except candidate pilots from European government entities if the training forms part of their professional UAS training.

At least 5 aspirant FPV pilots needed to organise the course. The training is a cooperation between BCN Drone Center and Local99, and will take place at their Installations near Barcelona city Spain, during 5 days ( Monday to Friday )

Main activity’s : – Flight simulator training – Outdoor flight training – FPV Drone building – Drone repair – FPV copilot / observers training – Theory

Not everybody’s capable to become a FPV drone pilot, mostly due motion sickness, provoked by the fact that your inner ear doesn’t detect motion and your brain doesn’t accept that only the eyes give a lot of motion input. Specific training can solve the issue. In case a participant is affected by severe motion sickness he / she will focus more on the copilot training.

In case there are more than 5 trainees, the training groups will then be divided in groups of 5 people max to avoid radio interference during flight training.

All of the materials for building the FPV drone set are provided by Local99 / BCN Drone Center and are included in the price of the course. Participants can bring their own equipment off course, they need to inform us what they bring and we will assess if they can use it during the training.

Several material packs are available while subscribing. Containing : – analog FPV goggles – Remote controller – soldering equipment – dedicated screwdrivers and wrenches – drone launch pad – extra battery packs – etc

Advanced FPV Pilot training

European Government entities personal only.

This training is open to candidates who have passed our FPV Pilot training or equivalent. Various types of multi-rotor and fixed wings UAV’s will be used during the training.

The training is a cooperation between BCN Drone Center and Local99, and will take place in their Installations near Barcelona city Spain, during 5 days ( Monday to Friday )

Main activity’s : – Flight simulator training

– Outdoor flight training, simulation of different scenarios / environments

– Outdoor Drone building

– Outdoor drone repair, simulation of different scenarios / environments

– FPV Piloting from inside a moving vehicle

– Long range FPV ( with and without repeater drone )

– Counter drone training

– Radio communication theory ( jamming technology )

Various types of multi-rotor and fixed wings UAV’s will be used during the training.
